1 Deepthi Bhavan, Kovuur (Estd 1978) Deepthi Bhavan, Kovuur P.B No 8, W. Godavary, A.P.- 534350 Ph: 08813 231382 Deepthi Bhavan Kovvur is the first convent in Andhra and Telangana region. Sr. Philo Maria Olickal, Sr. Rosily Panthalady, Sr.Maria Mangalam were the first missionaries to Andhra Pradesh from the mother province Thalassery, and began their service in the field of education in collaboration with capuchin Fathers and started to work in Deepthi English medium School Kovuru. On 8th February 2003 we celebrated the Silver Jubilee of Deepthi Bhavan at Kovvur and thanked God for His choicest blessings upon our first community. At present Deepthy Bhavan Kovvur stands as a lovely home for the girls of the West Godavari district who benefit from social welfare funds provided by the government of Andhra Pradesh. 26 th June 2016 was a remarkable day in the history of renovated Deepthi Bhavan.
2 Jeeovodaya Provincial House, Enikepadu (Estd 1987) Jeeovodaya Provincial House Enikepadu (Po), Vijayawada Krishna, A.P 521108 Ph: 9951623213 Email: Enikepadu is the second convent in Andhra Pradesh under the Diocese of Vijayawada. By accepting the invitation from Capuchin Regional Superior, Rev. Fr. Mathew Manakattu in 1987 we bought one acre of land and constructed karunalyam convent, during the time of Rev. Mother Rosebella, the then provincial Superior. Today this house is named as Jeevodaya when it became the Provincial House for the sisters of Andhra and Telangana. Besides the Administration, Formation of the Candidates, and a Tailoring centre to make pious articles such as Vestments and other articles used for Holy Mass, are carried out in the adjacent buildings of the Provincial house.
3 Yernagudem (Estd.1989) St.Joseph’s Bhavan Yernagudem (Po) W.G Dt A.P 534489 Ph: 8465915524 It was Rev. Fr. Jose Kaimalet the Founder of Heralds of Good news, who took the initiative to start a convent in Yernagudem, on the way to Rajamundry in West Godawari. St.Joseph’s Bhavan started in 1989 July 7th during the period of Rev. Mother Philo Pulikkapadavil the provincial superior of Thalassery province. St. Joseph’s E.M school is run by society of Heralds of Good News. Our sisters started to render their services not only in the school but also in the pastoral work like house visiting, village apostolate, teaching catechism for children etc.
4 Adoration Convent, Vijayawada (Estd.1993) Adoration Convent, Benze Circle Bishop’s House Campus Vijayawada, A.P 520008 Ph: 0866 2484638 In order to fulfill the desire of our Founder that our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament should be known, loved & adored by all, always and everywhere, we opened a convent in the heart of Vijayawada city. Accepting the invitation from Most Rev. Joseph Thumma, the then Bishop of Vijayawada Diocese, with the consent of Mother Felicita Superior General & Mother Rosebella, provincial superior of Thalassery. We started this convent in 1993 just behind the cathedral. The main intention to start this convent is to have perpetual Adoration in the cathedral and pray for the Diocese especially for the priests and people of the locality.
5 Mudinepally (Estd. 1995) Sahayamatha Covent Mudinepally (P.O) Krishana Dt A.P 521325 Mudinepalli is situated 60km away from Vijayawada on the way to Machilipatnam. Since it is a remote area, and the people of the locality were illiterate and there were no opportunities to send the children to the school, Most Rev. Joseph Thumma, the Bishop of Vijayawada invited us to render our services at Mudinepalli. In the year 1995 we started our convent and school at Mudinepalli.
6 Fatimanagar (Estd 1998) Aradhana Bhavan Fatimanagar,Kazipet Warangal, Telangana 506004 Ph: 0870 2459492 By accepting the invitation of Most Rev. Bishop Thumma Bala we entered in to the Diocese of Warangal in Telangana state. The main intention of Aradhana Bhavan at Fatima Nagar in Warangal Diocese is to have perpetual Adoration in the Cathedral and to pray for the diocese. At present formation of the Pre- Aspirants and Aspirants are carried out. Through our adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Cathedral of the Fathima Nagar, We could help the people to deepen their faith and trust in the Lord, in whom they find their strength and courage to face, thick and thin moments of their daily lives.
7 Atmakur (Estd. 1999) St. Theresa’s Convent Atmakur (Po) Warangal, Telangana 506324 Atmakur is a rural area. With an intention of educating the rural children, a school and Convent started in the year 1999 with the help of Most Rev. Thumma Bala, the Bishop of Warangal Diocese. Late Rev. Fr. Avito, OFM cap then parish priest of Atmakur took a lot of interest and risk in constructing the convent. In the same year St. Theresa’s E.M school was also started.
8 Nalgonda (Estd. 2001) Adoration Convent, Nalgonda Bishop’s House Campus Rashrapathi Road, Telangana 508001 Ph: 9645494119 Accepting the invitation from Most Rev. Govindu Joji, the Bishop of Nalgonda, we started our convent in 2001 in Nalgonda Dioceses. The main intention of this convent is to conduct perpetual Adoration in the cathedral and to pray for the diocese, and for the people of the locality. Sisters take care of the Cathedral Church and actively participate in parish ministry and village activities. A small candle making unit is also functioning under the care of our sisters.
9 Nirmalagiri (Estd. 2006) Jeevodaya house Nirmalagiri (po), koothuparamba Kannur, kerala, 670701 Ph: 0490 2366808 Rev. Mother Philo Pulikkapadvil the Provincial of Thalaserry province had a desire to build a convent in Kerala for the missionaries who are working in Andhra. This dream came true on 9th April 2006 when a convent was built in the centre of the Nirmalagiri.
10 Yerrupalem (Ested.2006) Mary Chantal Adoration Convent Yerrupalem (Po), Khammam 507201 Telangana Ph: 8374902763 Accepting the invitation of Most Rev. Paul Maipan, the Bishop of Khammam, two of our sisters started social work at Yerrupalem on December 6th 2006 in a rented house. Later we constructed a convent to carry out the specific mission.Our mission at Yerrupalem is to serve the poorest of the poor and marginalized in the society through social work and evangelization. Our sisters provide social awareness programmes through SHG [Self-help groups] under Khammam Dioceses. We also started an old age home at Yerupalam -” Karuna Nivas” for the abandoned and destitute woman in 2015.
11 Karimnagar (Estd. 2008) B.K.M.Adoration Convent Lourd Matha Church Campus Jyothi Nagar (Po), Karimnagar 505001 Telangana Ph: 7993692993 We started our convent in Karimnagar in 2008, in the Centenary year of our congregation. Rev. Fr. Raja Reddy, the dean of Warangal Diocese has taken genuine interest to begin our convent in collaboration with Jesuit priest to maintain the Loyola ladies hostel in Karimnagar. Later, Most Rev. Bishop Thumma Bala donated land near to the hostel to carry out any apostolic activities for the well-being of the people in and around Karimnagar. Therefore, a social work centre is established for the skill training of the drop out adolescent girls and poor women of Karimnagar slums and villages. The different skill training programmes which are provided through this centre are: i. Tailoring, embroidery and fashion designing ii. Computer course iii. Beautician course
12 Singanagudem (Estd. 2010) Depaul Health Care Centre Singanagudem Village Mallavalli(Po), Bapuladu Mandal Krishna, A.P 534489 OASIS, director, Rev. Fr. Sebastine Anthikad(CM) had a vision to open a health care centre in the Dioceses of Vijayawada for the purpose of taking care of the terminally ill people and specially focusing on HIV/AIDS patients. So with the consent of Rev. Mother Rosily Jose Ozukayil the then provincial superior, our sisters started to render their selfless services among the poor and marginalized. Later as they sensed the need of education of the specific area he also started an EM school in Signagudem and our sisters are also teaching in this school.
13 Frieburg (Estd. 2016) Ph: 4976140157564 Our sisters were rendering their services in Germany for ....years. When Jeevodaya became a province, we had no community of our own and then with the help of Sr. Anitta Elipukkal in consultation with major superiors arranged a place for us in Frieburg to start a community of Jeevodaya province. Thus from 2016 we got the opportunity to work in Caritas Organization.
